Our logo is the word ik that means wind in mayan.

We began the Ikarus Project in 2002, the same year we opened up in Playa del Carmen the first Kite shop in México.

A year later we started with the first Kite School in the South-East region of Mexico.

After having many schools in Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Tulum, Xpu-Ha and Cancún, we realized that the only place where people really learned Kite safely and easily was at Isla Blanca. Ever since we are located there.
