Kiteboarding is a sport that now can be learn in a very easy and safe way.
With professional instruction , new equipments and one of the best beginner spots in the world as Isla Blanca you can became a kiteboarder in 3 days.
The three following programs will help you select the one that is best adapted to your level.

Discovery program
Kiteboarder level 1 |
Description
The first part of this program will take you through the steps of equipment set up, flying technics and safety Furthermore
you will be piloting an inflatable kite, learn to water-relanch and body dragging in the water and self resque tecnic. |
Entry level
No experience needed.
Be able to swim.
DURATION 3 hours

Intermediate Program Kiteboarder level 2 |
Description
By the end of the intermediate program, you will get up on the board
for your first rides.
During the course, you will improve kite piloting
with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging upwind, etc...

Entry level
Kiteboarder level 1 or equivalent skill level.
Achievement
. Ability to rent equipment and practice under supervision.
DURATION 3 hours |

Independent Program Kiteboarder level 3 |
Description
You will be able to ride upwind and do transitions and maybe the first jump! During this
program, you will learn how to manage your practice area and to choose
your equipment.
Your kite flying skills will be improved and you will
learn how to control your direction and power, and come back to your
starting point.
DURATION depending on personal skills and wind conditions.

Entry level
Kiteboarder level 2 or equivalent skill level.
Achievement
. Become an independent kiteboarder.
. Buy your own equipment.
. Access to the advanced clinic program.

We
teach during the peak windy season from
November to May.
We do give classes also in low season, depending on the wind, but you need
to contact us first.
NOTE:
Average time to learn all the basics from stations of the wind
window, kite safety, water relaunch, bodydrag and up to the "waterstart" with
the board is 6 to 9 hours.
SOME FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE LEARNING CURVE ARE:
- Student ability
- Sailing, kite flying, and other board-sport experience
- Student weight
- Wind strength and direction…
It
is advised to bring the following items for your class:
- Sunscreen lotion
- Beach/water shoes (Tevas, water socks)
- Rashguard or an extra T-Shirt |
